Germanized Pro

A WordPress plugin for anyone selling to the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) through WooCommerce. German law requires line-level VAT breakdown, basic price text, specific checkout consents, sequential invoice numbers, and other details a standard WordPress shop doesn't provide. Germanized Pro closes all those gaps.

The Pro tier is the first paid level, designed for one site. It costs 85 euros per year, renewal 65 euros. It includes 12 months of updates and support, plus access to the Rechtstexte API for automatic legal text updates.

What you get: automated PDF invoices, multi-step checkout, netto/brutto price split, Trusted Shops integration for trust badges, alignment with German return and cancellation laws, double opt-in for newsletters, and correct handling of different tax classes.

The plugin is maintained by vendidero out of Leipzig, a German company with specific expertise in commerce law compliance. This is not a plugin that just translates labels. It handles real legal logic.

Fits businesses selling physically or digitally into Germany who want to avoid the risk of an Abmahnung (legal warning fine for trade law violations) that can run to hundreds or thousands of euros. The small annual investment is worth it against that risk.
